Why we exist
It's lack of time to turn intuition into a system. Talking to Brazilian owner-operators — the ones who know every regular by name and keep a dish on the menu because "it's Mrs. Silva's favorite" — we found the same pattern everywhere: pricing done on paper, staff training that lives only in the owner's head, customer feedback collected one by one with nowhere to become operational insight.

Who builds it

Co-founder
Software engineer for over a decade. I spent years talking to restaurant owner-operators and saw the same pattern in all of them: lack of time to turn intuition into system. Mise en Place was born from that.

Co-founder
Commercial Planning professional with experience in large enterprises, leading performance management, P&L and strategic indicators. Built analyses and processes that connect operational data to executive decision-making, focused on revenue, efficiency and risk mitigation. Designed KPIs, budget control and Power BI dashboards for sales and leadership teams — including a nationally awarded innovation project.
We use AI agents specialized in each part of our work — code, design, support, data — to amplify the team and serve customers better. It's consistent: if we ask a restaurant owner to trust AI as a copilot, we do the same in our own day to day. AI doesn't replace judgment — it amplifies.
